Doughnuts Doughnuts Doughnuts! This last year has been quite the year for these delicious treats. What with Doughnut Party and Destination Doughnuts opening. And even the delicious doughnuts from Ace Coffee Roasters. Ohana Doughnuts competes with the best of them with their delicious, freshly made doughnuts.

They are located right off Whyte Avenue, and on Gateway Boulevard. It’s a bit easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for. The interior is nice and and bright with a simple design.

For their doughnuts, you can their original (which is with cinnamon sugar), a chocolate dip, vanilla dip, or just a plain doughnut. And then on top of that, you can get it filled with your option of coconut cream filling, vanilla cream filling, chocolate cream filling, vanilla filling, or chocolate filling. On top of these options, they often have a seasonal or feature flavour!

I went around New Year’s and the feature was a Champagne doughnut, which comes with a champagne glaze with a orange cream filling. This was delicious! I really liked how the doughnut was warm. I did find that the cream melted a bit, so I might go with the vanilla filling next time.

The other doughnut that we got was the chocolate dip with vanilla. Also very tasty! Freshly made, still warm, and delicious. Definitely my second choice out of the two doughnuts. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chocolate dip. I might just opt to do their original doughnut next time.

Overall, a great little doughnut place! I think I might like this doughnut place out of all of them for fresh doughnuts that you can eat immediately. I really like how they come out warm and you can customize your doughnut to how you like.
