OEB is a breakfast joint that just opened up in Edmonton. It’s been in Calgary for several years now, and the hype when it opened up here was insane. Several Edmontonians have traveled to Calgary and had it there, and the excitement caused some really long lineups on the weekends. I definitely recommend using the waitlist on Yelp to reserve a spot. For parking, it’s located in Rice Horward way, so it’s quite sparse. If you can, I’d recommend just taking the train or walking from somewhere nearby.
For food, we got the Gold Digga and the Threesome. The Gold Digga comes with herb potatoes, Quebec Cheese curds, Berkshire Roast Pork, and topped with poached eggs, black truffles, and hollandaise. I really liked this dish! In the more recent years, I’ve acquired more of a taste for truffle and it is very truffle forward. It is a bit of an acquired taste so I’d recommend sticking to other dishes if you’re not a fan of truffle.
