610 Connaught Drive, Jasper

This is the first time that I’ve been to Jasper where Bear’s Paw’s other location was open. It’s located a bit further down the mainroad on Connaught Drive. The interior is a lot bigger, and nicer, with a lot more seating.

They serve a few more items here, such as sandwiches, and many other pastries. We had just gotten into Jasper and stopped by for a quick bite. We got their Chicken Little sandwich, a cinnamon bun, and a hot chocolate to share.

The chicken little sandwich is roast chicken with goat’s cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pesto spread, served on a French Vienna baguette. The sandwich was pretty good. It came with a side of chips that was nice. Very simple and easy lunch, and very affordable.

For dessert, we went with their cinnamon bun. Freshly baked, soft and chewy, this really hit the spot. We warmed it up a bit in their microwave and it was just right.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at The Other Paw. They have a nice and cozy room in the back with some couches for seating and a fireplace. It’s nice and quaint and a lot easier to relax here compared to their first location.
