So a little while ago I had a chance to try this for the first time. They were huge in 2015 and snowballe since thrn. fThe one thing that I have to give props to them for is their branding and social media. Honestly, I remember last summer, I couldn’t go a day on Instagram without seeing at least 4-5 posts a day of this ice cream. It’s a unique concept and they’ve definitely done well for themselves in terms of word-of-mouth and popularity.
They are a food truck, and can be found on the Street Food App in Edmonton. Currently they are at 13154 137 Avenue in the Staples Parking Lot). Their prices are a dollar more than last year (now 7$ versus last year’s 6$). Your flavours of ice cream include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, mango, avocado, coconut, thai tea, matcha green tea, pistachio, and coffee.
For Mix-ins (you get two), you can choose from strawberry, banana, mango, pineapple, blueberry, nutella, oreo, chocolate chips, mint chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, reese’s, M&Ms, rainbow sprinkles, marshmellows, and almonds. You can also get some premium mix-ins, which are cheesecake, ferrero rocher, and honeycomb, but they come at additional cost.
We had just come from dinner so we opted to only share one. I’ve really been on a matcha kick, and have been getting green tea everything, so naturally, we went with matcha green tea and chose pineapple and mango as our two mix-ins.

Overall, it was a pretty decent ice cream. I’m not sure if I’d go all the way out of my way since I’m downtown. The line can be hit and miss sometimes, and I wouldn’t really want to wait up to an hour for it, especially after driving 15-20 minutes just to get there. If it’s convenient, I’m all for it, but otherwise, I can’t justify the drive. Note: they also have a lot of other locations now so it might be worth it if you’re close to one of their other locations.
