Caramia Caramels

A little over a week ago, Caramia Caramels graciously gave me a small bags of their caramels to try. It’s owned by two sisters, Alysia and Tammy, who are very passionate about caramels! You can find them at the City Market later in November. I’ve included a link to their website at the end of my post.

They gave me a small variety pack that featured some of their different kinds of caramels, and they also sent me some photos that I could use (which look a million times better than any photo I take).

The Original

The original is just that, their most basic smooth and buttery caramel that has a hint of vanilla. It’s sweet, but not too sweet, and I really complement the original because it is the perfect blank slate to add any of their other flavours to it!

Smoked Maple Bacon

Their smoked maple bacon was probably one of my favourites. It is topped with crispy smoked maple bacon and gives a good contrast between sweet and savoury! I always have more of a savoury tooth than sweet tooth though!

London Fog Latte

Their London Fog Latte caramel is where you can really be impressed with how well their caramel takes on flavour. You can really taste the Earl Grey come out on this one.

Sriracha Roasted Almond

Their Sriracha Roasted Almond is also very good, although I think I must have had a goodie bag with just sriracha on it. I really like the hint of spice to it. One thing that I would have to say is that this particular caramel was really soft, maybe a bit too much. The texture of it was a bit too solvent for me, but still very good.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Lastly is their pumpkin spice latte caramel! Unfortunately this wasn’t in my variety bag, but that’s okay! I just wanted to include this so that you guys can have a look at what they have to offer right now. This one is their current seasonal caramel, so you should definitely give it a try while you can! I have no doubt that the flavour of this will really come out because again, their Original is such a great way to deliver flavour.
